Damento Juggling Club will be hosting the annual World Juggling Day Celebration at McKinley Park Library on Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 2PM to 4PM. The celebration attracts jugglers from all over the region who come together to celebrate the art of juggling and other performing arts. Free workshops for all ages include introductory ball juggling and spinning, contact juggling, and much more! Feel free to bring a picnic!
World Juggling Day was created as an annual day of recognition for the hobby, with the intent to teach people how to juggle, to promote juggling or for jugglers to get together and celebrate.

What goes up must come down, but that’s all part of the fun as world class jugglers will convene in Rancho Cordova for the Annual Damento Juggling Festival on Feb. 4-6.
Jugglers from around the region will pack their balls, clubs and fire batons and head here for the first time, making Rancho Cordova northern California’s “Juggling Capital” – at least for the weekend.
The event will feature free juggling lessons for kids and adults, plus a juggling exhibition and show, which is open to the public. Concessions will be available.
We had a great planning meeting today. Thank you to everyone that participated. I would like to invite anyone who would like to help to attend future meetings. We decided to keep them at my house as a midpoint location.
